Nexevo “My Browser” — Extension Privacy Policy

Who we are

The extension is published by PRISM LABS PTE. LTD. (“Nexevo”, “we”). It is an optional companion to your Nexevo account that lets the Nexevo agent operate your own Chrome browser when you ask it to — for example, opening a site you are signed into, filling a form, or reading a page.

What the extension does

When you give the agent a task that needs a browser, it opens a dedicated tab in your Chrome and works there while you watch. It never takes over the tab you are using. Each interactive action (clicking, typing, reading a page's content) asks for your one-click approval first, and a banner on the page shows when the agent is operating it. You can stop it, close the tab, or disconnect at any time.

What it accesses, and what leaves your device

• Only while a task runs, in the agent tab.The extension reads the page (text, the list of clickable elements, and screenshots) and performs actions using Chrome's debugger interface — but only on the dedicated agent tab and only for the task you asked for.
• What is sent to Nexevo.To carry out your task, the relevant context is sent to your Nexevo account: the text the agent needs to read, the interactive-element list it uses to decide where to click, and per-step screenshots that form the run's audit timeline (so you can replay what happened). This is tied to your authenticated workspace and used only to run and record your task.
• What we do NOT do.We do not harvest your browsing history, scan pages you did not ask the agent to act on, read your other tabs, collect your passwords, sell or rent your data, or use it for advertising. The extension is not active on pages outside of a running agent task (other than showing the “controlling” banner and, on nexevo.ai only, the one-click pairing bridge).
• Your logins stay yours. Because the agent acts in your real profile, it uses sessions you are already signed into; your credentials are never read or transmitted by the extension.

Permissions and why we need them

• debugger — to perform real, trusted clicks/typing and read page content via the Chrome DevTools Protocol. This is how the agent operates the page. Chrome shows its own banner whenever it is in use.
• tabs — to open and manage the single dedicated agent tab (never to inventory your other tabs).
• scripting / host access (all sites)— so the agent can work on whichever site your task targets, and to show the “controlling” banner.
• storage — to keep the short-lived pairing token and relay address locally so the extension can reconnect.
• alarms — to keep the background connection alive.
• sidePanel — to show connection status and controls.

Pairing & control

Pairing uses a short-lived, signed token issued by Nexevo when you click Connect; it binds the extension to your account over an encrypted connection. You can revoke it any time from Apps → My Browser → Disconnect, which immediately drops the connection.

Data retention

Page context used to run a task is processed to produce the result. Per-step screenshots are stored as part of your run's audit history in your workspace and are removed when you delete the run or your account, per the Nexevo service retention terms.
